About The Role 
You will serve as a key member of our Americas Commercial team.  You will report directly to System1’s VP Agency & Media Partnerships in New York City.  You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and ultimately closing new business opportunities across agencies large and small.  You will own a new business quota and be responsible for landing new customers.

 
What will you be doing? 
  • Develop, nurture and strengthen new relationships with senior agency leaders.
  • Grow fame, feeling and fluency for System1 across creative, planning and account teams.
  • Enable agency planners to use System1’s Test Your Ad effectiveness platform to help their clients create more effective advertising.
  • Support agencies on new business pitches and equip them with the evidence they need to acquire new clients. You will bring the missing ingredient that helps the agency prove the business effect of their creative pitch.
  • Thorough processing and follow up on all inbound agency interest
  • Active outreach towards new agency prospects and new account teams at agencies we currently support
  • Map the agency landscape for brand, influencer, and decision-maker prospects
  • Drive awareness and education through event attendance, webinars, and on-site workshops
  • Visit agencies in NYC, Chicago, LA, etc., establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the overall sales team, helping us leverage our agency momentum to drive more interest and revenue across top advertisers
  • Exceed an established sales quota by building a pipeline of opportunities and driving them to contract close

You need to have the following experience:

  • Planning a Brand - You have experience creating and executing a brand plan as an agency planner or within a communications team.
  • Developing Effective Creative - You know the creative development process and how understanding the audience response can inspire more effective creative.
  • Growing a Business - You have pitched and won new business proposals. You can demonstrate a track record of growing a brand or business, and what it takes to succeed.
  • Being a Challenger - You have succeeded in environments where it helps to take on a challenger mindset, especially standing-out among an industry that’s full of the ‘old-establishment’.
